i would like to thank each and every one of you that so kindly and graciously were praying for me this weekend. your prayers (and mine) were answered, and yet again i have been shown in no uncertain terms that prayer and faith in God is NEVER misplaced.

i am the girl that can talk for hours about science fiction. i order a big mac, fries and a DIET coke. i leave my car windows open but lock the doors. i am a natural athlete, yet i cannot get a child-proof cap open without help. i am smart enough to build a nuclear reactor, but i still tie my shoelaces togther sometimes. i am routinely outsmarted by small appliances. i trip over "watch your step" signs. i had once believed the swiffer to be the pinnacle of human acheivement, but then i discovered mashed potatos in a bag....... i laugh too loud, i drink too much and i love too deeply.

From fall until spring I go to confirmation at the Lutheran church I attend, and last year, here's something the Pastor had to say (this isn't word for word, but it's pretty close), she said, "God answers all prayers, no prayer goes unanswered. However, God answers them on His time, not yours, and in the way He chooses, not the way you choose. God might not answer a prayer the way or when you expected, but He answers all prayers nonetheless, with all of His love."
The point I'm trying to make here is that you're absolutely right by saying, "faith in God is NEVER a mistake!"
